For two consecutive years, Great Giant Pineapple (GGP) received “The Best Environmental Excellence” award at the Annual Global CSR Summit and Awards—Asia’s most prestigious recognition for Corporate Social Responsibility—for its implementation of its ‘zero waste’ program that reduces, reuses, or recycles wastes. This year GGP won Platinum, while in 2014, GGP won Gold.
Also, for two consecutive years, GGP won accolades at the Sustainable Business Awards Indonesia. GGP was recognized for “Outstanding Leadership in Sustainable Agriculture” and “Industry Champion in Agriculture Business” in 2014 and 2013 respectively.
In addition to the above four awards, GGP also received:
- Winner in Energy Management at the ASEAN Corporate Sustainability Summit and Awards in 2014
- Winner in Green Leadership Category at the Asia Responsible Entrepreneurship Awards (AREA) in 2014
