Sequis Tower, a premium development by FARPOINT proudly announced its success by winning four of Asia’s best real estate awards this year. Sequis Tower won Best Green Development (Asia) in the grand finale of The PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards 2017 which took place at the Sands Expo and Convention Center, Singapore, after previously won 3 awards in Indonesia Property Awards 2017 for Best Green Development, Best Office Architectural Design and Highly Commended Best Universal Design Development.
The awards received by Sequis Tower makes Indonesia become a led in the development of “green” building which care about the environmental sustainability for long term. The unique architecture is the result of collaboration with international firm Kohn Pederson Fox Pederson Fox Associates (KPF) based in New York USA. KPF provides a unique workspace design, with barren columns that provide a broad view of the green area of Gelora Bung Karno (GBK). “The design and architecture of the Sequis Tower pays great attention to its environment, culture and social value. Unlike most of the modern buildings in Jakarta, the designs that applied on Sequis Tower are made like Banyan trees, giving a cool impression to the people in it and provide a great view of Jakarta which is wider, “explains Robert C. Whitlock, Principal of KPF.
Sequis Tower also has been awarded as Highly Commended Best Universal Design Development because of its design of facilities that provides the ease and comfort of diverse of visitors, including the elderly and children. Moreover, the strategic location of Sequis Tower has an easy access to public transportation, especially the MRT (Mass Rapid Transit).
Sequis Tower has celebrated its topping off ceremonial in May 2017. So far, the progress of this development will be completed the entire installation of the facade until January 2018, and planned to operate on July 2018.
