Initially set up as Umas Jaya Farm in 1979 before changing in 1990 into Umas Jaya Agrotama, UJA manufactures tapioca starch that supplies high-quality tapioca flour to the food and beverages and pulp and paper industries.
UJA operates in Lampung and currently has a total annual production capacity equals to 54,000 tons of starch.
