BMP has a 19,340-hectare coal mining concession site in South Sumatra. The site is strategically located at Musi Banyuasin which has access to a nearby river that leads to the Bangka Strait.
A mining report by Joint Ore Resources Committee (JORC) Report has indicated that there are 70 million tons of mineable reserves of low-rank coal in a 2,000 hectare sub-section of the concession.
BMP is now in construction phase, with production targeted to commence in 2014 and plans to produce 1.6 million tons of coal in 2015.
