Consistently doing what is fair and right
As we strive to succeed as a business with global standards, we are constantly reminded of situations that challenge our sense of right and wrong. While there is no unfailing formula to help us consistently make the correct choice, I encourage everyone to remain mindful of two questions: Is it the right thing to do? Is it fair to all involved?
The Gunung Sewu Code of Conduct (GS Group CoC) embodies this approach. The CoC establishes the correct course of action and the fundamental responsibilities expected of our staff. These responsibilities intend to instil respect for the law and the importance of reporting any apparent wrongdoing. They apply not only to Gunung Sewu staff, but also all those we work with and those who work for, or represent, us. This will ensure a sense of fairness to anyone the company engages with.
